Andrea Santurbano is a professor of Italian Language and Literature at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (Florianópolis, Brazil) and professor of Comparative Literature to the PhD program. Co-editor of the literary studies magazine “Italian Mosaic” (Rio de Janeiro, Ed. Community), he has published essays and volumes on authors such as Manganelli, Morselli and Savinio and on the twentieth century European literature. He has translated works by Agamben, Esposito and Testa into Portuguese. He is responsible for the NECLIT (Center of Contemporary Studies of Italian Literature), active at the same university.
